what change in body cause migraine?

how does dilation of vessels during migraine cause headache
Answers:
The pathophysiology of migraine headaches is not clearly understood. Growing evidence supports the role of neurogenic peptides, such as serotonin and dopamine, in the brain. These vasoactive neuropeptides stimulate an inflammatory cascade with the release of endothelial cells, mast cells, and platelets. This inflammation causes vasodilation and a perivascular reaction (local inflamation around the blood vessel). The vasodilation may promote this perivascular reaction, in the sense that when vessels dialate they become "leaky" allowing a greater amount of inflamatory mediators to escape. The blood brain barrier is higly sensative to inflamation and can be disrupted. You must also consider, that the brain is very sensative to any for of irritation.
blood vessels constrict and not enough oxygen gets to brain
I think its because when before the vessels were constricted, maybe due to stress, then suddenly to much blood rushes through and causes pain
stress, lack of water, allergies and much more
Caffeine ingestion, allergies, stress. Migraine headaches are usuallu preceded by visual disturbances such spots, flashes, color streaks, or black spots, and also sometimes straight lines will appear wavy. It is important to seak medical treatment from a neurologist if you have this type of headache. Medications such as Imitrix can stop a migraine if taken at the time the visual disturbances are noticed. There are also other medications taken daily to prevent migraines from developing.
Actually what causes the headache is the rupture of small blood vessels in your brain, which causes the migraine, sensitivity to light, the nausea %26 the headache.
Get a glass jar, fill it with hot water %26 wrap with a hand towel %26 put the jar against your forehead this will help you to relax so you can fall asleep after you have taken your medicine.
migraine headaches are caused by a restriction of the blood vessel, the pain comes from the brain being restricted of oxygen
