I have a sore ulcer in on my gums, what causes them?, what can I do to help ease the pain?Thanks.

ambosol, anything with benzecaine in it, and use mouth wash to prevent infection..wont cure but itll help ease the discomfort.
They can be caused by a number of things from cuts and infections to alterations in your metabolic balance. Rinse your mouth with a good mouthwash 2 to 3 times a day, avoiding those that contain alcohol, they will make it hurt.
